Is this the Wii-killer?

But what makes the Darwin different (and possibly dangerous to the Wii) is that its sensors don’t rely on infrared in order to orient itself in space; instead it can detect the magnetic true north, and judge the player’s motions and relative position to the console based on that.
More importantly, the Darwin is designed to work with Microsoft’s XBox 360 gaming console. It may also be compatible with Sony’s PS3.
The two-part gadget is currently under development and might be making its debut as early as next year.
