World of Warcraft subscribers can now opt for additional account security by purchasing a little gadget at the Blizzard Store for $6.50. The gadget is a random code generator that users enter into an additional password screen they can use to better protect their WOW accounts. The random codes will only be valid once.

Sorry boys, though rumors have been popping up of the next installment in the beloved Half-Life franchise being announced at E3 2008, Valve marketing head Doug Lombardi have put those rumors to rest. Instead, Lombardi turned attention to Valve’s latest offering, the cooperative zombie romp Left 4 Dead. Oh well.
